Freelance Project Planning

At D K Rail, we are a small team of dedicated P6 Project Planning Specialists based in Cheshire, England. We strive to add value to your programme management and evaluation by supporting you with our wide ranging project experience through Inception, Design, Construction and Close-out phases of your projects.

Our experience over 16 years includes work on schemes delivering:

Rail - Signalling, Electrification, OLE, Civils, Structures, Buildings, M&E / MEP, Telecoms, Station Re-modelling
Highways - Structures, Pavement, SMART Motorways, Maintenance
Light Rail - PWay, New Depot, Signalling

We provide bespoke freelance project planning support to our clients, who to date have included Tier 1 & Tier 2 Contractors in both Rail and Highways Primary Infrastructure Development, Network Rail, City Councils and Local Transport Authorities.

We can tailor a package to provide as much or as little input as you need to take you forward. Project planning doesn't have to be daunting but it does need to be managed effectively and professionally. The programme will not only be used as your 'shop window' and to report progress as you go along, it may well be called upon as the basis for any delay justification or compensation event claim in the event that things do not proceed as planned. This can be for any number of reasons, not least of all issues arising from Coronavirus and the impact of sickness and resource limitations, site closures, material shortages, and workplace restrictions etc.

We can, if required work remotely and still collaboratively with you and your team, allowing us to present programmes virtually with personal guidance and commentary. This provides you with the insight and clarity to help you to be 100% confident that you are sending the message that you want to send in your programme submission.
