Reporting

Whatever the actual Form of Contract that describes the commercial relationship and operation of a project, it will invariably require a degree of reporting, notification and progress updates at certain intervals. 

This is likely to control the approval of period or stage payments from the client as well as to inform the stakeholders of progress and the current trajectory for project completion. 

We understand the importance of providing ongoing reports on the project status and also supporting this with the insight into the programme that may not be readily apparent to the wider project audience.

This evolving library of periodic snapshots provides an invaluable record of events. It will be called upon to support any notifications of change and variance in time and cost and in the event of a formal dispute arising, the outputs of intensive interrogation of the programmes will form the basis of any claim and often be instrumental in determining the judgement.

We know that not everybody is entirely comfortable with complex programmes, dates, variance, Gantt charts and critical paths. We aim to make this simpler with a down-to-earth commentary of what's progressing as required and what isn't, but more importantly the net effect for the project. 

We will work with you to tailor a reporting regime that is complete, understandable and relateable.

Programme outputs can be readily customised and we can suggest layouts and information formats that we know can improve understandability and relevance for different team players - Construction Managers, for example, have different specific requirements from a programme than say the Commercial Manager, or the Procurement team.
